Polperro 2011
Polperro is an old fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall, between Looe and Fowey. It used to be famous for smugglers, and in fact the cottage we stayed in (the one at the top of steps in photo 10 below) was named after Willy Wilcox - one of the smugglers who reputedly came to a sticky end in the cave underneath the cottage.
Lots of self-catering cottages are available to rent from Holiday Cottages Polperro.
